ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services involve the application of principles derived from the science of behavior to improve socially significant behaviors. It is a systematic approach to understanding behavior and how it is influenced by the environment. ABA services are commonly utilized to support individuals with developmental differences or behavioral challenges, although they can be beneficial for anyone seeking to modify behavior or learn new skills.
These groups are specifically designed to teach and reinforce social skills, such as initiating conversations, taking turns, and understanding social cues. Activities may include role-playing, social stories, and video modeling. Facilitators will use structured activities, games, and cooperative play to promote social engagement and communication.
